Agriculture Profile of Manipur Area Profiles • (a) Geographical Area of the State - 22,327 sq.km. • (b) Gross Agriculture Area - 2,89,826 ha • (c) Net Agriculture Area 2,34,025 ha • (d) % of Gross Agriculture Area 12.98 % of (a) • (e) % of Net Agriculture Area 10.48 % of (a) • (f) % of Net Agriculture Area in the 53.00 hills to net Agriculture Area of the State • (g) % of Net Agriculture Area in the valley 47.00 to net Agriculture Area of the state • (h) % of Net Agriculture Area in the valley 4.93 to Geographical Area • (i) % of Net Agriculture Area in the hills 5.55 to Geographical Area • (j) Cropping Intensity 123.84% • (k) Man to Agriculture land ratio (ha) 1:0.13 (1991).
