  6. TIME MANAGEMENT How does this exercise relate to tutoring? How do you know when you are practicing effective time mgmt. How does a student’s poor TM affect you as a tutor? How would your poor TM affect your co-workers? How does good communication btw staff relate to effective TM?

  7. TIPS … tutors are student leaders • TIE IT INTO HOW IT’S IMPORTANT FOR STUDENTS AND STAFF • PRACTICE WHAT WE PREACH • TIME MGMT FRUSTRATES STAFF….

  9. Processing questions • What surprised you about this activity? • Which questions were more challenging? Why? • How does this activity relate to what you are expected to do as a tutor? • How does this relate to tutoring……. Go through each question and relate it to each level of BLOOMS.

  10. TIPS…. • HAVE A TUTOR READ THE STORY • HAVE TUTORS WRITE OUT QUESTIONS FIRST • Challenge team to come up with another story w/ questions
