As a marketing professional in the financial industry, he has to evaluate value quickly and act fast to get good deals on advertisements and display his company's services in the best way possible. His experience with antiques has taught him to do just that.

As one history professor told him, though, with a degree in history he had to either teach or learn to sell himself. Now a marketing professional for NCJ, he has been selling ever since.

Even though he works in the Sales and Marketing Department, he has made recommendations to company banking practices, telephone etiquette, and signage. Hank believes sales at a financial institution is about the total customer experience, which drives him to view everything his company does through the eyes of the consumer.
