High School • Process for Selecting Materials • Department met in spring to discuss goals • Each teacher or team selected materials to review over the summer • A chapter was selected from at least two textbooks for piloting • Chapters were piloted in classrooms • Teachers evaluated strengths and weaknesses of piloted materials • Interdisciplinary teachers met with English counterparts to discuss selecting literary materials to pilot
