  5. The Center of every city-state was the ziggurat

  6. Located at the top of the ziggurat was the temple. From here the priest would call everyone in the city to morning prayers.

  7. Biblical scholars have wondered if this ziggurat could be the Tower of Babel read about in the Old Testament of the Christian Bible.
