Let’s see… • The complete subject is all the words before the verb, so you have to know where the verb is. • In this sentence the verb is ATE and it is an ACTION verb. • So.. The complete subject is..JOHN AND HIS PET KANGAROO • The simple subject is just the exact words that tell us who or what we are talking about. • So..The simple subject is..JOHN. KANGAROO
