  2. Accomplishments from 2009-2011 • Wrote by-laws and elected members • Compiled list of health related activities in district • Compiled curriculum for health and physical • education classes • Created website for SHAC information

Current Actions in Progress for SHAC • Continue to improve parent communication through website and twice yearly news letter. • Research and endorse curriculum choice for a coordinated school health program • Make time-line and research future actions • Recruit parent and community members for council. • Took survey of ROHS students on perceived needs concerning health issues.

  4. SHAC Recommendation to School Board On May 19, 2011, the SHAC council presented to the Red Oak ISD School Board the recommendation that the board purchase the Bienestar Health Program for our coordinated school health curriculum.
