  13. This portrait portrays Picasso as primitive. He appears to be reaching back to his authentic roots during his summer visit to Gosol, a village untouched by modernity. The face is vaguely exotic, Moorish perhaps Picasso is wearing a simple peasant outfit And looks totally workman like.
