What does St. Jude’s do? St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has one primary mission: To researches deadly pediatric diseases in hopes to find a cure! No patient is turned down regardless of whether or not they can pay!!
Why should you donate??What if it were your child or your friend? This hospital relies on donations to help support families and children who could not otherwise afford treatment! Wouldn’t you like to help?
What happens when I donate? • The money you donate is used in one of the following ways: • Helping provide treatment for a family who could not otherwise afford it. • Helping support families with the extra expenses that are a result of having someone sick in your family. • Helping find a treatment and cure for childhood cancer and other deadly diseases.
Did you know…. • 81 cents of every dollar that you donate is used directly for research and treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital? • It costs 1.7 million dollars a day to run the hospital—and 75% of that funding comes from your donation.
How can I help??? • Donate money to support St. Jude. • Participate in the Math-a-thon. • Enter a run that supports the cause. • Create a webpage to support St. Jude. • Volunteer your time or services. • Spread the word and spread the love. • Donate in memory of someone special. • The ways to contribute are only limited by you!
Spread the word… • When I told my family about St. Jude, we all decided that it is important to support this charity. My husband said, “It would be great if we could really get the word out for this. It could really make a difference!”
You can do it! • Everyone deserves a chance to have the best life possible. • Make a change…help someone in a way that will truly make a difference! • Support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!! • Information for this presentation was located on www.stjude.org
