  1. Michelangelo was known for his masterpieces all over the world. Michelangelo was born March 6 1475.He was born 2nd of five children.The same day he was born his father noted :Today March 6 ,1475 a child of the male sex has been born to me and I have named him Michelangelo. Michelangelo’s mother,Francesca Neri was to sick to nurse him, so he was placed with a wet nurse,in a family of stone cutters,where he, “sucked in the craft of hammer and chisel with my foster mother’s milk.
