Photography Animation (Disney, now a leading media GIANT) Color TV- the emphasis of the importance of color to society (closer to reality) Advertising! The Importance of the Manipulation of Society to Consume or Believe/Adopt Ideas through Visual Techniques Graphic Arts & Special Effects (computer generated artwork)

ART PROMOTES TRENDS-Expression of Identification and Individuality Clothing- Graphic Tees, Decorative Name Brands, Logos, Abnormal Fashion Current Art Culture: Graffiti, Tattoos, Macintosh Tech. “The Artist’s Computer” HD TV- Digital 3D Personalization of EVERYTHING! (products)- Candles, Folders, Notebooks, Tissue Boxes, Shampoos, Ipods, Phones, Cars, etc.

  17. How important are the visual arts in our society? I feel strongly that the visual arts are of vast and incalculable importance. Of course I could be prejudiced, since I am a visual art. -Kermit the Frog
