DSW • Guidelines for Bell Ringers: • (1) Copy each bell ringer question from the board daily. There will be a bell ringer check twice per semester. • (2) Answer each question, to the best of your ability, with the time given in class. If you need more time to answer, you may do so on your own time. • (3) Use only one side of each page • (4) If you are absent, it is your responsibility to ask a classmate to get the question for the day(s) that you missed. • ALL students are responsible for ALL bell ringer questions. Absences DO NOT excuse you from not having a complete journal.

Write: scientific and why or not scientific and why not • If salt is added to water, would the solution still boil at the same temperature? • If Suntan lotion is put on ultraviolet detecting beads, will the beads still change color? • Why is that a rock? • Where does the Sun come from? • How will human skin, covered with SPF 30 suntan lotion, react to solar radiation compared to skin not covered with suntan lotion?“ • What is air?
