Stafford Loan • Freshman Year • $5,500 – no more than $3,500 of this amount may be subsidized in loans. • Sophomore Year • $6,500 – no more than $4,500 of this amount may be subsidized in loans. • Junior Year • $7,500 - no more than $5,500 of this amount may be subsidized in loans. • Senior Year • $7,500 - no more than $5,500 of this amount may be subsidized in loans. • Total Debt • $31,000—No more than $23,000 of this amount may be in subsidized loans.

PaYMENTS • To pay my loan back with a 3.4% interest rate it would be $305.10 a month for 10 years. • Received $11,800 as a tentative amount of Financial Aid from Emerson College. • I hope to win some scholarships including the AFSA Scholarship Program • The rest will be paid for by my parents.

  13. Transportation- NYC • EasyPay MetroCard – “Pay Per Ride” Plan • Open account with $30 to ride any subway, express and local bus. • Earn 7% bonus when you add $10 to your account, so technically start with $32.10. • Account automatically replenished when it falls under $20.

  14. Transportation L.A. • TAP card- “Stored Value” plan • Can open an account with $5 • Can be used on any Metro buses Metro Rail trains, and the Metro Orange Line.

  15. Apartments • Monthly paycheck after taxes = $2,449.09 • Rent should never be more than a quarter of your pay check. • Find an apartment where rent is less than or equal to $612.26.

  16. Insurance • Any company that I know and trust. • Covered in but not limited to the events of: fire/lightning, windstorm/hail, freezing of plumbing system, and theft.
