Portable Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Station With technical support from GTZ and visits to Germany, CPCB developed a strategy for using portable mobile air quality monitoring systems in India. Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Mobile Van Outcomes Activities GTZ had supported CPCB in capacity building and advisory services for air pollution monitoring. As a part of this support, laboratories were established in CPCB and SPCBs including calibration units and mobile laboratories at CPCB. CPCB has started National Air Quaility Monitoring Programme (NAMP) in 1984. NAMP presently includes a network of 295 NAQM stations covering 99 cities in 28 states and 4 union territories. • With technical support from GTZ and visits to Germany, CPCB developed a strategy for using portable mobile air quality monitoring systems in India. • First portable station has been procured and commissioned in CPCB Delhi. • Two staff of CPCB were trained in Germany.
