Mentors shall: • Provide support and encouragement and share professional knowledge with mentee(s). • Discuss career and practice setting options with mentee(s) and orient them to the structure and organization of community-oriented sites. • Encourage mentee(s) to assist and orient other students/residents interested in exploring, understanding and gaining expertise in the practice of primary and allied healthcare in underserved areas. • Oversee mentee(s) community project (s).
