  2. Why it Interests Me • I think that the human body is an amazing machine and I am really good with kids. So to be a pediatrician for me would be the best of both worlds. It is both of my interests combined in one.

  3. Job Requirements • 8 years of school • 4 years of undergrad school • 4 years of medical • After school, there is an internship of 3-8 years • An educational degree required is a doctorate

  4. Educational Courses Required • Outside of high school, premedical students are required to take: • Physics • Biology • Mathematics • English • Organic and inorganic chemistry

  5. Monetary Compensation • Average pay • $77.60 an hour • $161,410 a year • Lower 10% • $40.79 an hour • $84,840 a year • Upper 10% • Over $80.00 an hour • More than $160,000 a year

  7. How Biology Has Biology Has Helped me • This class has helped me this year because Biology is the study of life. So to learn the basics of how the body works will definitely benefit me in my studies in college.
