Weekly Announcements for September 26, 2010 New Calendars for September through December are on the stage for pick up. Marriage Retreat: Please book your hotel rooms right away! Details: Oct 9th-10th at Holiday Inn Dayton/Fairborn, 2800 Presidential Dr., Fairborn, OH 45324. (937) 426-7800 – under “Church of Christ”.Cost is $25 per couple registration fee (which includes book) – register at the back of the church after service. The hotel has just a few rooms left at the rate of 107.95 (plus tax 13.50 = 121.45). The lower rate rooms have all been reserved. If these remaining rooms are taken, there is a sister hotel next door to the Holiday Inn, Homewood Suites (937) 429-0600 and the rooms are 119.00 each (tax 13.50 = 132.50). The retreat begins at 1 pm on Saturday and ends around noon (after worship) on Sunday. Our guest speakers are Ron and Linda Brumley. Ron is an Elder in the Seattle, WA church. Pick up a flyer at the back table for more details. Single Women: Mark your calendars for Oct 22-24 for our 2nd annual Single Ladies Retreat. More details to come. 2010 Christmas Program: If you’d like to help with lighting, choreography, music, sets, sound, costumes, ushering, crew, etc., for our Christmas program, please contact Sarah Mackintosh at sarah.r.mackintosh@gmail.com. You will be contacted about an upcoming planning meeting the first week of October. There will be a church-wide Shepherding Group Leaders MeetingSunday, November 7th at 4 pm here at the building. Come to be refreshed and learn from fellow leaders. Teen Homecoming in Cleveland Oct 1 – 3. The cost is $15 per teen (9 – 12 grade). Today is the FINAL Registration – see John or Shannon Cleghorn to sign up and get details and directions. Thanksgiving Day Party Here at the building November 25th from 10 am to 10 pm. Food, football, video games, card games and more. See John or Bev Quigley This Wednesday our midweek will be by Shepherding Groups 2011 Children’s Ministry Teacher Sign-Up: Teacher sign up for all of 2011 begins Sunday, Oct 3rd and runs through Sunday, Oct 31st. There will be four rotations starting Dec ’10 – Feb ’11, March-May, June-August and Sept – Nov. Please see any of the CM coordinators. Gospelfest is coming! Sunday, October 17th at 4 pm. This amazing event will feature our own choirs, along with choir groups from all over Cincinnati. This is an excellent event to bring friends and enjoy some of Cincinnati’s greatest talents. Singles, Campus and Teens – On Sunday, October 10th there will be a special church service at 6 pm at the church building (while the marrieds are in Dayton).
