  5. Budget for 2012 - 2013 • Please… ask questions! • Keep in mind our PTA mission statement as we review the budget. Arrowhead Elementary PTA will promote the welfare of all students, provide staff support, foster teacher and parent/community cooperation and enrich student learning.

President’s Report • PTA State Convention Results Honor Book - GOLD(only 2 units in the state achieved gold) Standards of Excellence - GOLD(only 8 units in the state achieved gold) Membership - 100% Award Newsletter - 2nd place Website - 3rd Place Weekly Email Flyer -  3rd Place • Council Innovative Program Award Recipient • Chair Thank You’s! • Committee Chairs for next year • Committee Chair notebooks – take the time to update with best practices • Face to Face officer transition

President Report Final Check – 2011-2012 Measurable Goals • Apply for Grants to Support Program/Needs: Healthy Students, Green Team & Applegate Grant all submitted – can be pursued going forward • Introduce More Academic Based Programs: Geo Bee, After School Science with new vendor, Lego Club • Partner with School on Shared Goals: Eprep, Classroom Volunteer Program, Pacific Science Center Day, Fitness & Health Programs: Healthy Hawks, Chef’s Club & PCC Mobile event • Increase Student Involvement in PTA Programs & Events: Hawk Hits via Newsletter, Student Art on PTA Directory, Student Art on Hawk Walk tee shirts, Student Help throughout Hawk Walk Day, Student involvement in set up & clean up at events
