“Wake up, Cat, and look at our Thanksgiving dinner!” said Mrs. Gumm.
Mrs. Gumm put the egg in a warm place. She was trying to hatch it.
In July, Turkey ate all the raspberries, green peas, inchworms, grass seeds, and cat food.
In August, Turkey ate all the grapes, lima beans, caterpillars, pea gravel and cat food.
In September, Turkey ate all the thorn apples, weed seeds grasshoppers, ladybugs, and cat food.
In October, Turkey helped Mrs. Gumm shell corn. He was getting fatter and fatter!
Mrs. Gumm said, “ Sit right down, Cat, and I will bring the turkey to the table.”
Mrs. Gumm said, “ I have so much to be thankful for and two good friends to share it with!” The End
