ATLAS-CONF-2011-155 mLSP=0 GeV, 195 GeV, 395 GeV Monika Wielers (RAL)
Susy Searches (Ldt ~ 2 fb-1) 1 0 2) Searches for 3rd generation squarks • Squarks from 1st and 2nd generations and gluinos may be heavy, naturalness requires not too heavy 3rd gen. squarks and gauginos • Look for O(100-500 GeV) light stop and sbottom from gluino decays or direct pair production • Example: direct sbottom pair prod. • . • Selection: • 2 b-jets, no other jets, large missing ET, lepton veto • Assuming 100% BR, sbottoms are excluded up to 385 GeV (for LSP < 60 GeV) 3) Long lived particles from: • Degeneracies (e.g. MSSM with m(chargino)=m( ) or AMSB) • Weak couplings (e.g. GMSB decays of NLSP into gravitino LSP) • Heavy virtual intermediate states (gluino decays in split SUSY) Will appear very soon in arXiv Monika Wielers (RAL)
