Traffic A website or webpage is of no use if people aren’t willing to view it. Here are some tips for increasing the traffic to your site. • Keep information updated • Post event results quickly • Same day is best • No later than next day • Create an e-mail list to send when updating important info • Allow viewers to subscribe to blogs and RSS feeds • Tell people about your site • Add your web link to your e-mail signature • Put your web address on business cards • Put your web address on all forms sent home • Have local newspaper or school newspaper post your web address • Post web address or link on school home page • Encourage athletes to use the page/s • Only post content people want • Remove or move content that never gets viewed • Post content on high traffic days
