LEAP: your questions answered • I would like to know the status of LEAP as a separate Unit in WV offices with no ADP in regard to Monitoring and Evaluation Unit that has been more formal in the organizations. Because, technically LEAP has broader scope and indeed M&E is integrated in LEAP but it looks like the LEAP is mostly has been fallen under the responsibility of M&E unit and it function as part of M&E unit. While in WV Afghanistan we want to make our team that is why just looking either to name this unit as LEAP or M&E. • How will LEAP 2 make WV more accountable to communities? • Is a 'LEAP for dummies' planned as we are finding that it is too complex for many in the field (even if translated into their local language)? leap day 2008

LEAP: your questions answered • Can there be another Q&A session some time after LEAP 2 has come out officially in order for us to ask clarifying questions? • Can we ensure that disaster risk analysis tools for assessment are included in the green tools? • I think LEAP is a fantastic system. If it is a system that we believe is good enough to transform the lives of those we work with are there plans to role it out across the World Vision partnership as how all our offices should be run? • How does LEAP 2 handle the issue of external standards in emergency programmes? leap day 2008

LEAP: your questions answered • If you have other templates and information you need for a grant or a separate funding mechanism, that requires a huge amount of LEAP-additional information, how do you incorporate it into LEAP or LEAPify the project without requiring too much work and too much documentation from the field? • If the reflection takes place at the end of each program/project management cycle why is the reflection after evaluation separated and identified as a separate cycle phase? • Is there a defined time period for the revision of products of each program management cycle phase (assessment report, design document, evaluation report) by SOs? leap day 2008
