LEAP: your questions answered • What training is being done to ensure that all staff—even those in very remote areas/ADPs-- will be able to classify, record and report income and expenses according to LEAP? • How is LEAP improving multilateral contracts planning and reporting? • Does an ADP still need to submit an Annual Operating Plan? I have heard that ADPs must now submit a DIP. Please outline if there is a difference between an AOP and a DIP? How involved do SOs need to be in the development and approval of these plans? leap day 2008
LEAP: your questions answered • How often should TDI surveys be carried out? Who pays for them and who monitors if they are done? • How will LEAP impact sponsorship/donor visits? What improvements can I look forward to? How does LEAP impact marketing? • If you have other templates and information you need for a grant or a separate funding mechanism, that requires a huge amount of LEAP-additional information, how do you incorporate it into LEAP or LEAPify the project without requiring too much work and too much documentation from the field? leap day 2008
LEAP: your questions answered • Is a 'LEAP for dummies' planned as we are finding that it is too complex for many in the field (even if translated into their local language)? • Is there any training available for field people in doing the household survey statistical analysis part (30 cluster, random sampling, confidence intervals, etc.) using Epi Info? • How does LEAP 2 handle the issue of external standards in emergency programmes? • How will LEAP 2 make WV more accountable to communities? leap day 2008
LEAP: over to you…. • Questions of clarification • Comments • What has your office done, or what does it plan to do, to mark LEAP Day? leap day 2008
LEAP: questions not answered? • All Q & A will be posted on the TD Website by the end of next week • As future questions arise ask your LEAP Coordinator, Regional Global Programme Quality Team member or the LEAP Team • Albert Kodio – LEAP and Finance • Lydia Ledgerwood/Laura del Valle – programme resources • Roger Steele/Ashley Inselman – capacity building • Jonathan Flower, LEAP Director – other LEAP issues • THANK YOU! leap day 2008
