CDS is looking to recruit to the following positions: SUPPORT WORKER Part time 3 days (22.2 hours) per week 12 months Fixed Term Contract SCP14-16 £15,882 - £16,604 per annum (pro rata for part time) Plus sleep in payment £30.00 per night BASED IN BOLTON SUPPORT WORKER Part time 2.5 days (18.5 hours) per week SCP14-16 £15,882 - £16,604 per annum (pro rata for part time) Plus sleep in payment £30.00 per night BASED IN BLACKBURN BANK POSITIONS ALSO AVAILABLE IN BLACKBURN £9.21 per hour (rate includes holiday pay) We require Support Workers to work at our Young Parents’ Service Units in Blackburn and Bolton. You will work as a member of the team providing support, supervision and practical assistance to young vulnerable women and their children on a rota basis. You will need to have a sound knowledge of the effects of homelessness and teenage pregnancy, ideally have experience of residential work and be aware of the network and support systems in the locality. The roles require flexibility to ensure service needs are met and involve shift working which includes unsociable hours and weekend working. An NVQ in Health & Social Care (Adults) is desirable. Due to the sensitive nature of the posts, offers will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check. CDS offers a range of benefits including professional development.
