  3. Questions • Nine different categories • Each round has 18 questions. • First Round Questions are worth one point. • Second Round Questions are worth three points. • Third Round Questions are worth five points.

  4. Answers • 20 seconds to answer, teams are warned by a timer. • Required portions of answers are underlined. • Additional information can be added, but must match the answer provided. • Correct spelling is required for all parts of the answer.

  5. Challenges • When the category is revealed, teams may challenge the question. • If the team’s answer is correct, the team wins double the points normally awarded. • If the answer is incorrect, then the team loses double the points normally awarded.

  6. Audience Ground Rules • No flash photography during the competition. • Do not communicate with anyone on the stage during the competition. • Reasonable amount of cheering will be tolerated between questions and rounds.
