Doubts and Difficulties Exodus 4:27-6:13
God convinces His people to believe His Word. • God’s word is confirmed by a demonstration of His power. • Worship is the faithful response of a believing heart.
God allows people to reject His word. • God gives us a choice as to how we will respond to Him. • God’s plans are not hindered by our choices.
God allows His people to endure hardships. • Our theology of God is big enough to see our suffering and His goodness without contradiction.
God allows His people to endure hardships. • The suffering we endure is incomparable to the goodness we will receive.
God allows His servants to be criticized. • God tolerates grumbling against Him. • Grumbling is the result of forgetting who God is.
God reminds us of His character and His promises. • God says, “I AM and I will.”
God patiently works out His plans. • Rejection, hardship, opposition and complaining do not change God’s good plans.
