Life Strategies (R152/252) AgendaMr. Ganas’s Philosophy“You were born to win, but to be the winner you must plan to win and prepare to win. Then and only then can you rightfully expect to win.” Life Strategies Agenda (64 minutes) During the first 64 minutes of class we will continue the “Hoffman Hustle”. This includes learning and practicing strategies that WILL give you the opportunity to be successful at and after Hoffman Estates High School. All earned privileges will be honored (see Life Strategy Privilege sheet attached). You will be given a folder by Mr. Ganas to keep your life strategies materials organized. I will be checking your assignment notebook/calendar at the beginning of each class. Please be prepared with notebook/calendar out for me to check you off. Each class must have daily assignment written down with the teacher’s initials (write none if no homework assigned, still need teacher’s initials). If you do not have an assignment notebook, Mr. Ganas will provide you with a calendar to keep track of your assignments. Resource Agenda (30 minutes) During resource you will have the opportunity to receive help or finish homework. When you have completed your homework you may silently read. If you do not have a book to read then I will provide you with an alternate activity (you may use the computer for non-school related activity based on what you have earned on the privilege sheet). If you need to see a teacher, test make-up, or leave the classroom you MUST have a pass from the teacher that was given to you prior to class. WHAT YOU NEED FOR EVERY CLASS Assignment notebook/calendar Life Strategies Folder Unfinished homework Book/magazine to silently read Positive attitude You will have 1 “unprepared card” you will be able to use if you do NOT have the materials needed for class. If you are unprepared and do not have a “card”, you will be allowed to go to your locker, but will receive a tardy. “Preparation is the key to Success”
