The CEBS Designation • CEBS is the leading and most respected professional designation in the employee benefits industry • CEBS also offers certification choices in three distinct areas of specialization – Group Benefits (GBA), Retirement Plans (RPA) and Compensation Management(CMS) • CEBS courses can enhance daily performance and long range career objectives
The CEBS Curriculum • University-based curriculum distinguishes CEBS from other designations • Comprehensive and relevant curriculum covers the entire spectrum of employee benefits and compensation • The Wharton School – responsible for the academic standards of CEBS
Continuing Professional Education • CEBS has introduced a universal continuing professional education (CPE) requirement for all holders of the CEBS credential—past, present and future graduates • 30 hours every two years • CPE-compliant graduates will be listed and recognized on www.cebscpe.org, a publicly available and searchable listing • There is no expiration or revocation policy for the CEBS credential for noncompliance with CPE.
Earning CPE credits • As a Society member, you have access to a variety of educational activities that you can apply towards your CPE requirements including: • ISCEBS Symposium • ISCEBS local chapter programs • Annual Continuing Education course • International Foundation educational programs • CEBS courses beyond those completed to earn your designation. • Other activities you pursue for maintaining a related designation may also qualify.
CPE • The $75 CEBS continuing education fee for the first reporting cycle will be waived for Society members. • Visit www.cebscpe.org to learn more about the CPE requirement.
