NO END IN SIGHT: • No End In Sight spoke about issues that further explored the troubles we now face with the war in Iraq. • The film helped it’s audience understand the poor preparation for the war. • George W. Bush didn’t have any experience with war. • The government didn’t start planning the invasion on Iraq until only 60 days before. • The meetings held at the Pentagon were entirely unstructured. • While in Iraq, U.S soldiers barley spoke Arabic.

  4. IRAQ’S GOVERNMENT: • The absolute rule of Saddam Hussein buckled on April 9, 2003. • Sovereignty was returned to Iraq on June 28, 2004. • 275-member transitional National Assembly as of January 30, 2005.

  5. DEBA’ATHIFICATION: • The United States strategy of removing Baath party members from Iraqi government positions following the fall of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein. IRAQI MILIARY: • A professional Iraqi army is being shaped to replace Saddam's army with a specialized force for maintaining peace and permanence.
