Background • Astrid Kirchherr , a German artist and photographer was in close association with The Beatles during their early Hamburg, Germany days, as she dated one of the former members, Stuart Sutcliffe, who unfortunately died young. Despite his death, she continued her friendship with the remaining members and also continued to photograph the iconic group.
