What FREEtools and programs do we need to start? • Tex Implementation including its executable Files, Styles, and Packages which is called LaTeX distribution. • A user-friendly writing environment (similar to the Microsoft Word) • Java Runtime Environment • A Reference Editor (Like Endnote) • A PS (PostScript) interpreter • A PS and Pdf viewer • A Figure Drawing Tool (Like Office Tools) • A Formula Writing Tool • I have created a section in my LaTeX Blog to collect all tools very conveniently.
