The Glen Ridge High School Mission • At GRHS our number one priority is our students • Each student is designated a guidance counselor who helps with scheduling, academic/personal issues, and specifically: college • Students have numerous opportunities in which they can express themselves such as • Joining a club • Joining a team sport • Choosing elective classes that suit their interests • Taking challenging courses • Etc.
Daily Schedule • Each day is comprised of 9 periods (8:00 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.) • Periods 1-8 are specific to each student but will cover: • Mathematics • Science • English • Social Studies • Physical Education • And three elective classes ( extra academic course, computer science, graphic design, photography, music, etc.) • Period 9 is unique to GRHS and is set aside time for students to seek help from their teachers
Graduation Requirements • In order for a student to complete high school in 4 years and graduate they must fulfill the following requirements: • 4 years English • 4 years Math • 4 years Social Studies • 4 years Science • 4 years Physical Education • 2 years Foreign Language • 2 years Arts • ½ year Computer Science • ½ year Financial Literacy

Club Highlights Girls Learn International officers hosting an event to raise awareness of inequality and women’s rights, and to raise money for their sister school in Veerni, India. Student Council members taking on town hall.
Well Wishes Fundraiser • Well Wishes, a club that raises money to dig wells in third world countries for access to clean water, hosted a ‘stick your principals to the wall’ fundraiser. Each piece of tape cost a dollar.
TV Studio • Our school has student-run announcements every morning, where students learn to function the technology that goes into TV production.

Graduation Always held outside on the field behind the school, graduation is signified speeches, awards, and the students.
Project Graduation Post graduation, seniors are in store for a night of themed fun (all thanks to the parents).
