  3. SCENARIO SOLUTION Migrate to QAD 2008 (eB2.1) both sites Take environment as is from Germany. Implement in Italy RISK Verify Stuttgart set up is proper for IT IT and DE are working differently today BENEFIT Use the same procedure in both sites Reduce both sites customizations Single DB with Domain Information transfer is easier or direct EMT direct with MO PRM compatible with Euroaccounting Consolidation Functionalities User interface .NET Thales Avionics Grenoble will migrate to QAD 2008 Open to include US

  5. Conditions of execution Project scope Migration of actual 2 environments an DBs in one environment in QAD2008 SE version with 2 domains (Legal Companies) on a single server and single DB. Target processes are the one existing and followed right now in Thales ATM Stuttgart, and will be formalized during the Q-scan phase. Any new functionality Implementation is out of scope (EMT – Consolidation). Developments Migration only for existing customizations in Thales ATM Stuttgart. Any new customizations required in Germany or Italy are out of scope. Only existing and working interfaces will be in the scope. Warranty period on migrated customizations will be 3 month after customer test. Data Migration Any needs out of what is provided by the std migration tool is out of scope. Thales Italy should provide data to be migrated. No historical data will be taken in consideration for this project scope, mainly for Italy. Architectural and network requirements A technical meeting will be scheduled to check actual situation and give technical recommendations.

Buying new users is 40% less expensive than paying the back maintenance. • Thales Germany saved $276K for the last 4 years by not paying the maintenance. • Maintenance starting date can be schedule over the next 3 months after all the license PO has been placed. • Our Service offer is a budget approach based on the best estimate.

  12. Next steps Meeting suggested at your convenience time to finalize the proposal: License resolution through the signature of a Sales Order Form for 71 Named Users. Latest version of QAD software will be ship to Thales. Q-Scan will be launched asap in July when the PO is signed; team is already in place to start.
