Evaluation progress (Summer 2012) • Finalizing child, parent, and implementation measures • Working on obtaining approval to conduct research • COMPLETED: SRI, University of Minnesota, Chicago Public Schools • IN PROGRESS: Saint Paul Public Schools • NOT COMPLETED: Evanston (written, not yet submitted), Unit 5 (no IRB required), Virginia MN (no IRB required) • Selecting and recruiting comparison schools • Recruiting children and their families (began 8/13)

Implementation Management Updates Curriculum Plans • HCRC management team and Head Teachers & Principals • Collaborate to create this plan and complete it by November Plan covers: • Rationale:a written plan describing the curricular packages and a rationale explaining why the curriculum was selected for this group of children, also including: • The balance between teacher directed and child directed activities • The types of activities and instructional methods included
