Tips to survive describing the PHOTO QUESTION It is important to remember that this question is marked for COMMUNICATION onlyand is worth 8 marks, 2 per sentence. You need to write in a full sentence which includes a verb. Know your PEOPLE and how to spell them; un chico/unachica/unamujer/un hombre/un niño/unaniña/un bebé Know your KEY VERBS in the 3rd person e.ges/son/está(n)/hay/hace/ tiene(n)/juega(n)/come(n)/bebe(n)/va(n)/ve(n). You can repeat things like es/hay. So, if you see a boy, smiling, playing guitar in his bedroom, an appropriate (and correct) set of sentences might be: Hay un chico. Hay unaguitarra. Está en un dormitorio. El chicoescontento. NB/ Only write what you can see to be FACT. You cannotimagine or say what is not there. (It is not asking you to give any opinion on the photo or the activities on it.)
