Process • As per statutes 2 year term to be adhered to • When a board member resigns, his/her period is up or expelled, the following process is suggested:
Process(contd.) • All members advised in writing(email) that position(s) have to be filled • On the FoSA website a prominently positioned area dedicated for these position(s) • Interested members to send their resumés to the secretary, who then arranges that ALL received applications are published on the FoSA website.The position(s) applied for should be clearly indicated for each applicant
Process (contd.) • A deadline of 10 days before the next AGM for applications. No late applications will be accepted because the administration thereof will be compromised • FoSA members to be referred to the website page in both the invitation to the AGM, the AGM agenda, as well as per email
Process(contd.) • At the AGM each applicant to be given an opportunity to introduce him-/herself and reason(s) why should be elected (Q&A session) • Voting by the FoSA members • Advising of relevant authorities of the new board members
Summary • Advertise position/advise of 2 year term ending • Create dedicated web page • Applicants send CV to FoSA secretary • Place all CVs on web page • Deadline of 10 days before AGM • Communication via email, AGM invite and agenda • At AGM time for introduction and questions (Q&A session) • Voting • Advise relevant authorities
