Evil and suffering and belief in Allah 1.7 Monira and Dulmar
Natural evil • There are two main types of evil and natural evil is one of them. • Natural evil means things that cause suffering but have nothing to do with humans. • Natural evil happens everywhere on the earth, these evils can be poverty ,no shelter, no food illnesses etc.. • Everyone experiences things in life that causes them to suffer, from stubbing your toe to watching a loved one die. This appears to be life. • People question natural evils and they link it to Allah and doubt in his existence.
What non-believers believe and how different it is to Muslims response • They question Muslims and what they say for example 'Allah is Omni benevolent, Omniscient & omnipotent’. Then they question ‘but if Allah is Omni scent he would know how to remove the causes of suffering’. • As Muslims we believe that life is a test and in a test there are a lot of obstacles and Allah wants to see how we deal with it as humans but some people who are non-believers might not believe there is an after life or day of judgment
Moral evil • There are two main types of evil and moral evil is one of them. • Moral evil means actions done by humans that cause suffering • these evils are not naturally but a action from another human towards someone else. • Examples of moral evils: war, car accidents, murders etc..
