  2. Everything that exists has a cause. The universe exists so it must have a cause. The universe is so amazing the cause must be powerful. The only unmade being powerful enough to make the universe is Allah.

  3. Do things exist without a cause? • NO • Nothing in this world just happens by chance. Many people would argue that the same is true of the universe . They argue that nothing happens by chance- everything has a reason or a cause. This is known as causation. • Islam has a similar argument for the existence of Allah, the Kalam argument. • The logic behind the causation argument appears to prove Allah’s existence. However, the final step in the argument still requires belief in a superior being who caused the universe and some people find this hard to accept.
