Strategic Plan Efforts to Improve Internal Controls As of March 6, 2012 • Established a Finance Committee which meets weekly • Hired a Bookkeeper who works Monday – Friday, 8AM-12 Noon • Established protocol whereby daily financial management overseen by P.E.C. Board V.P. who serves as Finance Committee Chairman
Seeks new revenue sources • Contracts services to generate revenue and fees • Currently in discussions with area institution of higher learning to provide academic services • Takes advantage of out-of-town donors’ efforts • Atlanta Fundraiser scheduled for August 2013 -- No fees apply; 100% sponsored • Schedules additional special event -- Summer 2014
