Opening the Office Invite your customers in for a sit down discussion. Show them all the “whiz bang” capabilities of your noise monitoring and flight tracking systems. Explain the challenges of managing aircraft noise issues, but don’t blame others (FAA, airlines, pilots, etc.)
Providing as much information as possible. Do not hide behind technical jargon (CNEL, SEL, DNL, etc.) Provide timely and accurate reports and information that the average lay person can easily comprehend and use. Go out in the surrounding communities and listen. Use the internet to your advantage. Place noise and flight information on the web. Allow access to monthly information via the web
