400 or 500 on the TOEFL? • When someone talks about a TOEFL score of 450, 600, or similar numbers, they are referring to the older version called the PBT. • The new TOEFL iBT is scored out of 120 points as mentioned. • 400 (PBT) = 32 (iBT), 450 = 45, 500 = 61,550 = 80, 600 = 100.
