CARDS • EQ: What are various techniques & media that artist use? • VA3: Choosing & evaluating a range of subject matter, symbols, & ideas SHATTERED • STEPS: • Draw sketch & leave one inch blank at bottom. • Trace twice on larger paper. • Creatively draw connecting lines joining top design to bottom design. • Using a yard stick, divide the design into six sections. (“x” and center line ___ (see above)) • Illustrate 6 different TECHNIQUES (one in each section): • Colorful Markers (solid) 290 • Colorful Markers (stippling dots)290,284 • Colorful value study using colored pencils 230-234 • Black/white value study using pencil shading 60-62,65,133,136 • Black/white pen and ink techniques (contour lines, hatching, cross-hatching, stippling, contrast coloring) 96-99 • Black/white scratchboard 102-103,272-273(Note: Save scratchboard for last.
