Homework http://2ndgrade.cmswiki.wikispaces.net/Newsletter Spelling: Each student receives an individualized spelling list based on a practice test taken with a spelling inventory list. (Spelling tests are given every Friday) Math: Homework consists of math workbook pages and math games. Each student is given the homework every Monday and it is due by Friday. Discovery Education: Online assignments for each subject will be given for students to complete beginning with Literacy on 10/1/12 (only one subject area per week) Read 30 minutes every night and write the title of the book in agenda. Projects: Two projects are given in second grade. Goods and services project: (December) Insect project: Identify the body parts of insects (Springtime) Note: Spelling and math homework can be found on the second grade wiki under the Newsletter tab.
