How do people get us to believe them? • Facts • Credibility • Would you rather listen to a librarian tell you about skateboarding, or a professional skateboarder? Who would you believe? • Motivation • Why does the author want to persuade me? What good does it do me? What good does it do them? Do we all get something out of it? • Appeals: • Emotional- responding with your feelings and heart • Logical- responding with your head I think you should use Bright White Toothpaste because it helps fight cavities. it will make you beautiful and popular.
