The discharge of dye bearing wastewater into natural streams, rivers from textile, leather industries make severe environmental problem of the present day. The Heterogeneous photocatalytic process is a high efficiency technique, which is used to oxidize the organic pollutants present in aqueous system. This report aimed to elucidate the Photocatalytic degradation of Malachite green dye in aqueous medium in presence of UV light irradiation using Allium cepa mediated (CuO) Nanoparticle prepared by Bio-method.

Synthesis and Characterisation of CDSE Nanoparticles by Chemical Precipitation Method

CdSe nanoparticles were synthesized using a simple chemical precipitation method at room temperature in different Cd Se ratios. The nanoparticles were characterized using x ray diffraction XRD ,high resolution scanning electron microscopy HRSEM ,energy dispersive X ray analysis EDAX . XRD pattern reveals that the nanoparticles are in well crystalline Hexagonal phase.The broadening of diffraction peaks indicated the formation of particles in the nanometer size regime.HRSEM images of Cdse nanoparticles of CdSe in different Cd Se ratios shows different morphologies. Green Synthesis of ZnO Nanoparticles using Jasminum Fluminense Leaf Extract and its Spectral and Optical Characterizatio

The main objective of the present study is to deal with the green synthesis of Zinc Oxide ZnO nanoparticles utilizing aqueous leaf extract of Jasminum Fluminense.` Zinc acetate Zn O2CCH3 2 H2O 2 and sodium hydroxide NaOH were used as starting materials and Jasminum Fluminense Nithyamalli leaf extract is used as precursor in the synthesis of ZnO nanoparticles. The resultant nanopowder was characterized by using Ultraviolet UV Visible Spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy FTIR and Transmission Electron Microscopic TEM studies. Formation of ZnO nanoparticles has been confirmed by UV visible spectroscopy and the TEM analysis spectacles that the synthesized ZnO nanoparticles are of face centered cubic fcc structure and the size is found to be around 20 nm. FTIR spectral analysis indicated the leaf extract acts as the reducing and capping agents on the surface of ZnO nanoparticles. This simplistic and green approach may provide a useful tool to hefty extent in the synthesis of ZnO nanoparticles. These synthesized nanostructures illustrate novel applications in many fields such as cosmetics, optoelectronics, sensors, transducers and biomedical science because it is environmentally friendly and does not involve any harmful substances. Azadirachta Indica A. Juss. Leaf Extract Mediated Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles and their Antibacterial Efficacy Aga

The present study deals with the biological synthesis of silver nanoparticles AgNPs from the leaves of Azadirachta indicia and their efficacy against human pathogens. Azadirachta indicia has the potent medicinal properties and used in different aspects of traditional medicines. The presence of silver nanoparticles was confirmed by the formation of brown color of the reaction mixture. The green synthesized silver nanoparticles were characterized by Fourier transmission infrared spectroscopy FT IR analysis and X ray diffraction XRD . FT IR revealed that the functional groups were observed and capped with plant secondary metabolites. X ray diffraction was used to confirm the crystalline nature of the particles. Antibacterial activity of silver nanoparticles was performed by agar disc diffusion method against Staphylococcus aureus, E. coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterococcus faecalis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The highest zone of inhiitionof silver nanoparticles synthesized by Azadirachta indica extracts was found against Klebsiella pneumoniae 17 mm . The silver nanoparticle synthesized in this process has the efficient antibacterial activity against pathogenic bacteria.
