Quality-policy The Faculty of Adult Education of the University of Pécs achieved a quality assurance system first in state-higher education according to International standards which we have been using by noticing the latest standards as well. (MSZ EN ISO 9001:2001) The Faculty of Adult Education and HRD recognised the necessity of continuous use of QA-system and regulation so as to reach our goals in education and in research by our organisation.

Infrastructure • All lecture-halls and rooms are supported with WIFI, projectors and portable PCs. • There are 40 SUN clients for students. • There are two informatics training rooms for ICT-lectures, seminars.
Defense-Research Centre • Research and development in the area of defense and security affairs in co-operation with the state and economic organisations, companies, etc.; • Application of defense and security research in civic life; • Joining major EU and NATO Research and Development programmes in the field of CSFP. • Analysis of defense and security programmes and subjects with relevant results.
International Studies Center • The role of ISC is to promote the international relations of the Faculty of AE and HRD through planning and organisational activities. ISC’s priorites are to expand the international relations of the Faculty referring to student and staff mobility. • ISC co-ordinates the programmes of the foreign students and teachers coming to the Faculty in the following areas: • Short studies, exchange-programmes;, • Semester-long trainings; • Scholarships, hungarian as foreign languge courses for foreigners; • Hungarian Language and Culture Summer University/Summer School; • HUngarian Language and Culture Winter School.
Human Resources Development Research Unit The HRD- research unit of the Faculty runs applied researches and development projects in the following areas: • The survey and analysis of learning-attitude and academic competencies of students applying for MA in Adult Education; • The effectiveness-survey of former students having graduated at our faculty since 1978; • Researching the learning-motivation and learning strategies of 60+ generations.
