  1. JEWISH CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICE Newcomer Employment Services We hope to be a resource to help newcomers link with long-time Winnipeggers, employers and organizations. We also look forward to connecting and staying in touch with colleagues, service providers, and other community supports.

If you are a newcomer to Winnipeg’s Jewish Community we can offer you information, resources and referrals to: • connect with community organizations and job-search related resources • help optimize your resume-editing and interview skills • assist you in developing effective job search strategies • gain a better understanding of Winnipeg’s labour market • develop, strengthen and/or expand your professional network

  3. We can also assist you with information regarding: • unemployment and/or workplace difficulties • professional/trade certification, regulatory bodies, and skills development options • Employment Insurance (Service Canada) and WCB (Workers Compensation Board) questions • employee rights, employment equity, diversity & inclusion, managing your personal information • other labour market and workplace-related topics
