Your Web Site • Guide people to your web site • Increase your rankings by using key words in your site • Create links into your site and from your site • Meta - Descriptions • Add a blog • Register with Google places
Exercise one • Write down the name of your organisation and in 3 words what does your organisation do. • Pass this to someone who is not in your organisation • Write down the word or phrase would you type into Google to find this organisation. • Pass it on.
Social Media Face Book Page • A Facebook Page is a customisable presence for an organization to join the conversation with Facebook users. • The Page focuses on the stream of content posted by the Page administrators. • By leveraging the real connections between friends on Facebook, a Page lets Fans become brand advocates. • Posts by the Page will start to appear in News Feed, giving Pages a stronger voice to reach their Fans.

Twitter/Facebook • Give someone the task of adding tweeting adding news to facebook, blogging etc • Google Places – register NOW! • Tell people you are using social media • Add links to your website and get others to link to you! • Engage people in conversations
