Tatum Tapered Implant Placement Instructions. When acceptable attached Gingiva is present, use an appropriate tissue punch at implant site. Start osteotomy with pointed pilot drill (1.5mm) to proper depth using irrigation. Enlarge osteotomy with second pilot drill (2.0mm)

When acceptable attached Gingiva is present, use an appropriate tissue punch at implant site.
Start osteotomy with pointed pilot drill (1.5mm) to proper depth using irrigation.
Enlarge osteotomy with second pilot drill (2.0mm) to proper depth using irrigation.
Finish osteotomy with tapered drill to proper depth using irrigation. Laser mark indicates crest of bone location.
Using your handpiece and HT.09 driver, place implant into osteotomy slightly above desired depth at low RPM.
Using your Tatum Ratchet and either the HT.06 or HT.07 extension , finish placing the implant to the desired depth leaving the neck of the implant slightly above the tissue.
Determine proper abutment angulation using color-coded post guides.
Using HT.10, HT.11, or HT.04 place the Healing Screw into the Implant Body by turning it Counter-Clockwise .
