UGT Requirement (5 –Level) • 3E453 Skill Level Upgrade • CDC/HST/OJT/CBT/Formal/SF • CDCs – 2 sets/7 vols ~ 7 months (CerTest available) • CerTest – 2 CBT ~ 8 hrs • Core Tasks – 49 task ~ 25 days ~ 216hrs • AFQTP – 6 modules ~ 30 hrs • Total 884 hrs/110.5 days – AFI 36-2201 mandate – 1 yr minimum • Supervisor contacts MAJCOM PMP for Certification

Certification Requirements • DoDI 4150.07 3E4X3 must go to school every 3 yrs. • DoDI 4150.07 New Hires (Airman or Civilians) must complete apprenticeship training within 2 yrs • For Unit Training Managers and 3E4X3 Supervisors • Project Airman to attend Re-Cert Class 3 yrs from Tech School Graduation (Formal School Request) • Ensure Airman complete Core Tasks and CDCs within 2 yrs of graduation of Tech school • Supervisor contact MAJCOM PMP to receive certification once OJT complete (send AF Form 2096) • If Airman exceeds 3 yrs without approved extension from MAJCOM PMP, Airman must attend 20 day course • 3E4X3 UTC requirement that Pest Managers be certified • Certification lapses are reported in annual Measures of Merit report to HQAF
